Eddie has, himself, made a statement saying that there will be a definate answer by Friday as to whether or not he will be competing in this year's Sprint Championship or not.
It is as yet unclear as to what his situation is. The latest word is that he has provisionally signed up to race this year but is still waiting for a response, although these are just wild rumours.
Eddie made an announcement this morning (Wednesday) that he will have a definate yes or no answer by Friday afternoon.
