Eddie has said the the 10 hour endurance race at Spa-Francorchamps has highlighted some areas of his fitness that need improving.

Eddie, who is well known for being extremely fit, suffered from some muscle aches after the 10 hour race, which he says have helped him identify weaknesses that hye needs to work on.

"As far as stamina went, I was totally fine. The long bike rides and runs that I do obviously paid off - my concentration didn't wain throughout the event. The areas that I need to improve are in muscle endurance around my neck and upper shoulders.

"I expected to ache a bit after the race but I didn't expect to ache quite as much as I did."

Eddie will start a more intensive weight training regime this week.

"Although I don't really need it for the sprint and endurance races I ususlly take part in, it can only give me an advantage in the long run..."
