Eddie’s long-awaited return behind the wheel has been put on hold as a result of the recent weather. Eddie was due to have his first run with the new 2009 machines at Rye House on Thursday but this has had to be re-scheduled because the circuit is too flooded.
Eddie has not driven a kart since the last race of 2008 in the middle of November while he has been recovering from the broken ribs that plagued him throughout last season.
There is no news yet as to when the test will be re-scheduled.
