The podium position at last weekend’s Premier endurance race at Buckmore Park was perfectly timed as shortly afterwards, Target Racing confirmed Eddie for the 2010 season.

Multiple Sprint, Endurance and European champion Trevor Randall has also been confirmed for half a season. With Kieran McCullough, Marc Laukam, Chris Bell and Lee Kemp all still rumoured to be in line for drives throughout the course of the year, Eddie is hoping for a continuation of the progress seen this year.

“I’m delighted to be staying for another year at Target Racing. It is a great team to drive for and the captain is a legend! We had a few ups and downs this year but we ultimately succeeded in our goal of regular top six finishes and a podium. Hopefully next year we will get a few more podiums and maybe even a win – that would be fantastic.”

Eddie admitted to having a few options for 2010.

“I spoke to a few other people about next year but I’m happy here and I’ve put in a lot of work this year so hopefully I’ll see more improvement next year. Hopefully Trev will decide to do more races with us and he is sure to help bring the results in. Providing we can get a strong three man line-up we should be in good shape. I’m really excited about it.”
