Eddie completed an incident-free test session at Bayford Meadows today in preparation for the race there in two weeks time. This is the second time Eddie has tested at this circuit, having driven in the "underwater" test session twelve months ago.
The test was a great success, with Eddie posting a time of 54.4 seconds, only a couple of tenths behind the fastest lap of the day. "This test has really given me a confidence boost. Twelve months ago I completed a really successful test here, which prompted me to sign up for this season's sprint championship and this time around, I managed to lap consistently quickly without incident."
When asked what this meant for the race on the 20th, Eddie replied "Looking at what I did in the test I would like to think I will be quite competitive in the race. Obviously I would like to make the A final again and I think that there is a possibility to do it."
