Synopsis

I admit to being a bit apprehensive about picking this book up because of Dave Wolverton's last attempt at a Star Wars novel (The Courtship of Princess Leia for thos who don't know is a pile of crap!).

I was plesantly surprised. I enjoyed the story and like reading about Obi-wan Kenobi as a young boy.

There were a few bits of the story that I found a bit hard to take, like the bullying carried out by some of the young Jedi but other than that I can't really fault it.
