OK so now this was Jude Watson's debut as a Star Wars novelist. Having read the Jedi Quest and Last of the Jedi series, it was quite good to go back and read her earlier work and see how much she has matured as an author (in Star Wars terms at least).

As with the previous book, this reads as a mini-adventure series, much like you would expect of a kids cartoon TV series. It is a good story and lays the groundwork for the rest of the series.
