Synopsis
The planet Melida/Daan is in the middle of a civil war where the two factions, the Melida and the Daan, are slowing killing each other. A female Jedi named Tahl was sent to mediate, but she was taken hostage. Obi-Wan and Qui-Gon are sent to retrieve her.
Lord Depravus Says
Weakest so far - 09-Feb-08
Whilst I like reading about a young Obi-Wan and seeing that he perhaps wasn't always the perfect Jedi we saw him to be in the films, I think that the concept of him leaving the order was a bit too far.
The one thing I really did like in this book was the confrontation between Obi-Wan and Qui-Gon. That was very well handled and brilliantly written.
