Scooby-Doo with a Lightsaber - 09-Mar-10
I think the main problem was that this book was a continuation of a plot that has been running for a few books and will continue into the next book so it felt like page filler material that didn’t really have a huge impact on the series as a whole.
I do find the overall writing style a bit flimsy and rather fluffy but given the age of people these books are targeted for I guess that is a good thing. They really do have the feel of a children’s TV series and I sometimes forgot I was reading Star Wars altogether and I had been transported into a world involving Jonny Quest, Penny from Inspector Gadget and the gang from Scooby-Doo. I’m almost hoping that the villain gets caught and claims they would have got away with it had it not been for those pesky kids…
