Synopsis
Qui-Gon had expressed his love for the Jedi Tahl. It looked as if they were to be married. However, after being double crossed at a secret meeting, Tahl is kidnapped by the Absolutes led by Balog. She is transported to a secret location and Obi-Wan and Qui-Gon go on a frantic race to find her. But can Qui-Gon keep his emotions in check and honor his duties as a Jedi?

Trust the attractive young blonde - 21-Jul-10
Anyway, the main story revolves around Qui-Gon and we see how his emotions start to cloud his judgement. This is handled extremely well by Jude Watson and she manages to convey all the emotion in such a short story.
Like with most books in this series, the story is seen primarily through Obi-Wan’s eyes and we get to see how he is affected by his master’s emotional conflict and slow journey towards the dark side.
Another great read and, aside from the few too many areas of gullibility on the part of Obi-Wan and Qui-Gon, I can’t really knock it.
