Aaris III
Aaris III was the homeworld of the Aaris species. It was located in Kathol Sector, near the Trition Trade Route.
Aaris III was a blue-green planet filled with warm oceans and humid jungles. Mountains burst through the forests in long ranges, climbing kilometers into the sky. Several immense ruins covered hundreds of square kilometers, adding awkward brown and gray patches to the verdant green jungle - many more ruins lied hidden by the forest canopy. The largest blight on the planet was a vast desert which seemingly appears as if it was dropped right in the middle of the equatorial jungle. There were no charted settlements on Aaris and the initial survey team left only a standard Imperial marker beacon. Although the jungles and oceans teemed with fauna, no particularly intelligent animals had evolved on the planet.

A variety of ruins were scattered across its surface, representing the only remnants of the original civilization of Aaris which inhabited the planet. During the last years of the New Order, Aaris III was also the site of an outlaw camp, located on the far side of the planet from the Place of Kastays.
