Eddie expecting tough finish

Eddie has said that he expects the last four races this season to be tough for him. Three of the four final circuits are ones Eddie has only raced on once before and never tested on and with his financial situation at the moment, is unlikely to be able to compete in any tests or endurance races prior to the sprint.

Speaking in a recent interview Eddie said "Both Rye House and Birmingham were right at the beginning of the season last year and I can barely remember them at all. Ellough Park is also very unfamiliar to me. I have a feeling that I will struggle at these tracks and I think the season may end on a bit of a downer."

Eddie has not been happy with his season so far. "It has just been one problem after another this year. I made constant progress last season and was, overall, happy with myself. This year I started out pretty much where I left off last season but I just seem to be the target for other people's anger - I have lost count of the number of times I've been driven off the road."

Eddie has also struggled with his own performance in the mid-season, something he admits to not understanding. "Apart from my recent rib injury, I just haven't seemed to be on it. I haven't been anywhere near as quick as I expected myself to be at some races this year and it has been disappointing to say the least."

Eddie next races at Ellough Park in Suffolk on the 6th September.
