Eddie has said that he has not got too excited with his performance at the last race and does not expect to repeat the result at Spa this week.

Eddie was speaking about the forthcoming race at Spa-Francorchamps in Belgium and has said that he expects a much tougher race.

"We will be racing with the Premiers and a lot of other top drivers from both the sprint championships, so I expect it to be a much tougher race. Personally, my plan is to just keep out of trouble and drive sensibly - not make any stupid mistakes like I did at the last endurance race."

He was also quick to dampen speculation that he could repeat his A final result at the next British event at Lydd.

"I don't know what to expect. It was a good feeling to qualify for the A final at a circuit that, historically, I have never been that quick at. Lydd is a circuit that I like and I have been quick at in the past, so who knows? I might well make the A final again but I might have a really s**t day and only end up in the C final!

"I certainly don't expect to do as well but I just want to go there and do the best I can. I haven't got too excited with my result at Clay because at the end of the day that was just one race. There is a whole season to go yet."
