Eddie has said that he is cautiously optimistic going into this weekends endurance race at Bayford Meadows. IMSD Racing go into round three of the championship at the top of the table after their third place at Rye House.

"I still don't want to make too many comments on our chances because I think that is just tempting fate." were Eddie's comments. "Having said that, I like Bayford and I tend to go well there and the team is on a roll at the moment, so as long as we can keep this momentum up I think we are in with a good shot."

This will be the first outing for the team without team leader, Stephen Deuchar. Nevertheless, the team is confident that this shouldn't hamper them too much.

"We are all pretty evenly matched so as long as we work as well as we have done in the past, I see no reason why we shouldn't do as well as we have done in the opening races."

The team are 25 points ahead of nearest rivals, HB Racing. However, the team do not consider them to be their biggest threat this weekend.

Ian Wilson said, "I don't think they are the main competition, this is more likely to come from Sugar Hut and Sugar Hut 2, who were very quick on the track at Rye - the good news is that they were very slow in the pits, and we have a big advantage there. If we can keep the kart on the track pointing in the right direction, and make the stops efficiently, we should be on the podium."
