Eddie returned from North Wales today having completed the climb up Mount Snowdon. Eddie, along with three friends, climbed up “the hard route” along the ridge of Crib Gogh.

“It was great. We drove from Leicester to North Wales early on Friday morning, climbed the mountain in the afternoon (as the weather was nice) and then spent the next day having a bit of a boys day – which basically meant getting blind drunk!"

The climb took the team 4 hours and then two hours to get down.

"We obviously went the hard route. It was great! I'm in my element doing stuff like that - climbing virtually sheer rock faces at 1000 meters. The walk down was also good, but we came back the boring way and admired the scenary.

"I also resisted the urge to call in at Glan-Y-Gors!"

This trip was the first of many planned “How hard could it be?” challenges that the team are building up to. Other challenges include climbing Ben Nevis in September, White Water Rafting and Base-Jumping.
