Eddie has categorically refused to have his ribs checked out by a professional. Eddie is thought to have cracked a rib at the last race at Glan Y Gors but has said that he does not see the point in going to a doctor.
"If I have indeed cracked my ribs, as I am pretty sure I have, what is the point in seeing a doctor? All they will do is patronise me for five minutes and then say 'Yes you've cracked a rib' and tell me to take it easy for a few weeks, which is what I am doing anyway. Besides which I hate doctors!"
Eddie is still in pain after it is thought his new seat insert, which proved a little too tight, crushed his ribs.
